Looking for a beautiful name for a baby girl that starts with a letter B? Here are some trendy and unique choices.

The letter "B" is a strong and stylish choice for a baby girl's name. It's also not nearly as common a choice as some other letters, so many "B" names stand out as distinctive. Here are some beautiful girls' names that start with the letter "B," divided into trendy, classic, and unusual choices.

Popular & Trendy Baby Girl Names That Start With B

  • Bailey. Bailey is hot because it draws from three big naming trends. First, it's got the "ailey" suffix (like Kaylee, Hailey, and Shaylie). Second, it's an androgynous name. And third, it's a last-name-turned-first-name. However, the name itself isn't overly popular (according to the U.S. Social Security Baby Name Index, it's not even in the Top 100), so if you're looking for something that's in vogue but not too trendy, Bailey may be a good choice. It's from an Old English expression meaning "bailiff." A less popular variation is Baila.
  • Brooke & Brooklyn. Popularized in part because of Brooke Shields, Brooke has been popping in and out of the top 50 names since the 1990s. Because it's short and sweet, it's a popular middle name as well. Brooklyn is an up-and-coming trendy name that reflects the place name trend and blends in with names such as Kaitlyn. The original of this name is a Germanic name that means, as you might guess, a small stream.
  • Brianna/Briana. These female versions of Brian took off out of nowhere in the 1980s and are still all the rage. Less popular variations include Brianne, Bria, Bree, and Breanne. These names are derived from a Celtic expression that means "exalted."

Classic Baby Girl Names That Start With B

  • Beth. This classic name is both a nickname for Elizabeth and a Hebrew name that means "house." It's not currently on the top 1000 names list in the United States, so this is a classic choice that will stand out as unique. A somewhat more popular name is Bethany, which means "fig house" in Hebrew. The Israeli town of Bethany plays a major role in the New Testament.
  • Bella. Obsolete for most of the twentieth century, Bella is making a comeback, largely due to the overwhelming popularity of Isabella. In Italian, Bella simply means "beautiful."
  • Bonnie. Bonnie was a popular Baby Boomer choice but has since fallen from favor. It derives from a French phrase that means "good girl' and is commonly associated with Gaelic. The similar Spanish name Bonita is an uncommon alternative.
  • Beatrice. Obscure since the early twentieth century, Beatrice may remain at the bottom of the charts or may enjoy the revival of old-fashioned names such as Isabella and Abigail. The name comes from a Latin name that means "voyager," Interesting variations include Beatrix, Beatriz, and the Slavic name Beata.
  • Barbara. Like Linda and Deborah, this name screams 1953 and has lost favor-- perhaps in part because of the "Barbie" connotations. But if you like classic names and want something that isn't trendy, this name might be a good choice. Barbara derives from a Greek name that means "foreigner."

Unusual Baby Girl Names That Start With B

  • Bianca. Derived from an Old French word that means "white," Bianca is one of those names that's not used too commonly but that's familiar enough to not be weird.
  • Bren, Brenna, Bryn, or Brynna. If you like Brianna but want something more unique, here are some good choices. These names derive from a Gaelic expression that means "little drop of water.'
  • Bridget. This uncommon name has a unique history. In Irish mythology, Bridgit was the goddess of poetry. Other spellings include Bridgit and Brigette.

You really don't seem to like Bonnie, but it's a beautiful name that should be more popular. And it also means beautiful in Scotish. I think you should change the comment on Bonnie, because it is a great name and you should think so too
