» malibu_nikkus - Can you get pregnant using normal lubricant?

There are many sites on the internet saying normal lubricant inhibits your ability to concieve. Is there anyone who used normal lubricant like KY jelly while TTC and got pregnant? Did anyone have to stop using lubricant to get pregnant?

There is information that lubricants can contain the same ingredients as in spermicides. They can alter the pH in the vagina. You might explore some natural alternatives that do not contain chemicals

I doubt most people know that since it is not advertised.

Makes me mad really that we know so little about some of the products we use!

Hubby and I watched a documentary last weekend called The Corporation - about how as consumers we are really controlled by mega-companies and how information like this can even get supressed in the media.

Don't get me started! I am still reeling at what I saw on this movie.
