» wildwood - changing my baby's name?

My baby girl is 8 months old and I have been unhappy with her forename for some time - I have tried so to make it suit her in my head, but something is not right. We selected it in haste I feel without enough consideration. I feel it is like a jigsaw piece that doesn't fit - it is like she has the wrong name in my heart ! It really bothers me and that her chosen name is so popular (which does not sit comfortably with me at all since I have an unusual name). Is it too late to change her name or am I being ridiculous and unfair on her and the consequences of dealing with a new name !!?

What do others think of the name? Your husband/father of the baby? Family? Is it just your impression or do others agree that the name not suit her at all?

Sometimes names have to grow on you a bit too. Also sometimes nicknames seem to fit the child better as they grow up. Is there a middle name you could use?
