» bigbump77 - Measuring bigger than dates.

I have been measuring about 6 weeks further on than my dates for most of my pregnancy , I am now 31 weeks pregnant and measuring 37 weeks. I have been having growth scans as they say my baby is big , and as I had shoulder dystocia with my first baby they are now telling me I will probably be induced at 36 weeks or a ceasarian. I would like my baby to be born naturally but feel the odds are stacked against me do you think it is likely I will have ceasarian?

36 weeks is awfully early for an induction. Please be sure that adequate testing is done so that you don't end up with your baby in NICU due to his/her lungs being immature.

Your situation makes it difficult for someone like me to guide you in any one direction. I truly believe that if you ask more than one provider, get appropriate testing, explore all of the options, talk it over with your spouse and pray about it, you will come up with the best solution.
