Your best bet is to try to go into spontaneous labor. Have you talked to your care provider about the possibility of waiting for that? How long are they comfortable with waiting?
I recently had a client who had a asuccessful VBAC but needed to wait until one day shy of 42 weeks.

They are definitley willing to wait. They are very supportive of me having a VBAC. I think its more me worrying that I am waiting for an inevitable c section. I have used most of my maternity leave at home and was thinking of just scheduling the c section. I'm not really sure what to do.

Most women who have a successful VBAC also discover that their recovery is so much easier than with a cesarean. No one can make this decision for you, but just remember to factor all of those things in before you decide.

Can I be induced after having a C Section?

Most providers are reluctant to use pitocin on mothers with a previous cesarean. A few may use a low-dose induction however. You might ask your provider about their philosophy on using pitocin with a VBAC mom such as yourself.
