» carias - I wan't a VBAC

After 6 weeks of misery after my last C-section I am doing a lot of research about VBAC friendly providers in my area (Orlando-Florida) A home birth seems to be the best option for me.

I know many women can safely VBAC at home with a knowledgable provider. I highly suggest finding a qualified midwife who will be able to help guide you through prenatal care and make sure you are truly low-risk for a home birth delivery option.

I also highly recommend visiting the ICAN website, or yahoo group, for more information and support about pursuing your VBAC.

Congratulations on taking charge of your own health care choices! I love you are you doing research now and really investigating all your options.

Keep in mind also that you may have other options to consider in your VBAC research such as hiring a doula and looking into a birth center (one that is staffed by midwives versus doctors), both of which can improve your chances of having a VBAC.

As Angela said, good for you!
