Congratulations Countygirl! I have PCOS and am pregnant with my 3rd child. I am able to conceive as long as I follow a diet that restricts sugar and refined carbs and I exercise EVERY DAY. Please make sure your doctor checks you for gestational diabetes at 8 weeks instead of 26 weeks. Your history of PCOS dramatically increases your chances of having gestational diabetes and the sooner you learn to be in control of that condition, the better things will turn out for you and your baby. I had gestational diabetes with each of my pregnancies and was diagnosed at 26 weeks with child #1 and 8 weeks with child #2. Needless to say, the second pregnancy was much easier and the baby was 2 pounds smaller than the first! I hope things go well for you!

Hi Countrygirl! I, too, have had great success with Insulite! I am trying to spread the word about it and PCOS. I know there are women out there struggling with the symptoms associated with this syndrome, and don't even know that they can do something about it to alleviate their symptoms. I had never even heard about this syndrome until I started having a dialogue about everything with my OBGYN. Especially the importance of learning about my insulin resistance. I have been following the Insulite program for about a year and a half, and attribute my wonderful 1-year old little girl to that. I hope everyone out there has a very happy and healthy 2008.
